The adult baboons have been getting plenty of attention from the film crew that is shooting episodes of the farm for our new television series on Animal Planet. They've been on several walks with the crew and were also filmed during the morning feed.
Jeffrey particularly loved the attention and was constantly playing with the camera equipment; thankfully he didn't break anything this time!
To keep the adults from getting bored, the adults have been taken through several different routes on their walks. They are a little bit cautious on the walks but certainly enjoy exploring these new locations. On one particular walk Big Momma's position as Alpha female was under threat as the rest of the troop turned on her for the first time. She is still currently alpha but it looks like it won't be long before there is a shift in power with Dory appearing to be the main challenger, so watch this space in the baboon political world!
