The poor seniors got an almighty shock when a wild male baboon jumped into their camp earlier this week. The screams could be heard all over the farm but luckily Wildlife Co-ordinator Shaun came running to the rescue and chased the wild baboon away, receiving a grateful hug from Sarafina as a reward!
Lala, Bloomie, Kayla and Sarafina adore our new baby baboon Rudi and are constantly fighting over him. Little Rudi is often kidnapped by one of these four girls and taken into the senior camp after a walk and so he then has to be retrieved by one of the co-ordinators!

Kayla is still a little escape artist and is frequently getting out of the seniors camp and then jumping all over roof of the volunteers’ kitchen. Not even a bowl of fruit salad can tempt her down so her escape escapades often involve a lot of waiting and hiding until she can be caught!
Poor Marlin got a cyst on his cheek recently but luckily he’s made a quick recovery. He is now getting used to living in with the seniors and is regaining a lot of his old confidence.

Bakkies and Troy are still as mischievous as ever and just love play fighting...usually whilst sitting on a volunteer’s back! We still adore them though!
